Product Description

ZMJ Packaging manufactures eco-friendly paper boxes for food, cosmetics, lifestyle and gifting brands working to a packaging reduction target. Both board routes support customization of board weight, box structure, ink system, finish and inner fitment. Recycled kraft keeps the fiber content high and the cost low, while FSC-certified coated board allows four-color print without a plastic laminate.

Recycled Board: Recycled kraft at 200–350 gsm with a high post-consumer fiber content, in a natural unbleached tone.
FSC-Certified Option: FSC-certified coated or uncoated board at 250–400 gsm, with chain-of-custody documents supplied per order on request.
Water-Based Inks: Water-based flexo or offset inks in place of solvent systems, with no heavy-metal pigments specified.
Plastic-Free Finish: Aqueous varnish or a matte water-based coating instead of PET or BOPP film, so the box recycles as paper.
Mono-Material Structure: Board, paper wrap and water-based glue only, with no window film unless a recyclable option is agreed.
Flat Packing: Boxes ship flat with the glue seam made up, 100 per bundle and 500 per master carton.

1. Recycled Kraft Eco-friendly Paper Box

The recycled kraft version prints one or two water-based colors directly on an unbleached recycled sheet, with no film and no foil. It is the lowest-impact route in the range and suits food, tea and lifestyle packs where a natural tone supports the brand. Because the sheet is open, the minimum line is 0.25 mm and the minimum type is 7 pt. Board runs 200–350 gsm, and the box recycles in the ordinary paper stream. The MOQ is 1,000 pcs.

2. FSC Certified Eco-friendly Paper Box

The FSC-certified version prints four colors by offset or one to two colors by flexo on a coated or uncoated board at 250–400 gsm, finished with an aqueous varnish rather than a plastic film. It holds fine type at 5 pt and photographic panels while staying in the paper recycling stream. Chain-of-custody documents for the board batch are supplied per order on request. The MOQ is 1,000 pcs.

Packaging and Shipping

Eco-friendly paper boxes ship flat with the glue seam made up, bundled in paper bands rather than shrink film, 500 pieces per master carton at 250 × 200 mm. Master cartons carry item code, board grade, revision and quantity. Where an order needs a plastic-free outer pack, the master carton is taped with paper tape on request.

Sampling and Production

Samples can be completed in approximately 3–5 days to check board grade, ink adhesion, varnish coverage, score quality and box fit before mass production. Tooling includes one printing plate per color and a cutting die, charged once and reused on reorders. Mass production takes approximately 10–15 days after proof approval and deposit confirmation, with the final schedule depending on board availability.

The approved sheet stays on file, so a second run keeps the same board grade and ink system. Finished boxes are inspected for board weight, ink adhesion, varnish coverage and glue strength before shipment. Third-party inspection at the plant or the port can be booked on request.
