In the printing industry, UV printing, as an important printing process, is widely used in high-end business cards, boutique packaging, high-end commercial albums and other fields due to its bright colours, special printing materials and novel products. However, in the UV printing process, there is sometimes a problem of printed work orders being wasted, which not only affects production efficiency, but also increases the cost of the enterprise.
The image of the previous print appears on the next print, mainly due to the incomplete cleaning of the blanket and the poor quality of the car wash water. The UV car wash water does not have enough cleaning power, and the ink left on the blanket from the previous printing is transferred to the next print.
Incomplete curing of UV ink will cause the ink to fall off or change colour, affecting the quality of printed matter. High printing pressure, thick ink layers, and light source interference can all cause incomplete ink curing.
The main reasons for the waste of printing work orders during UV printing mainly include two aspects: incomplete cleaning of the blanket and incomplete curing of UV ink. Printing enterprises need to strengthen control and improve the quality of printed matter.
